Very quiet and very nice (also in the opposite direction) to drive. Caution: The entrance is designed only for "normal" wheels. Cargo bikes can get a real problem here and wheels with trailers have to take off the trailer to get through the barrier!

The ammunition depot Brüggen-Bracht was an ammunition depot of the British Rhine Army. It existed from 1948 to 1996 and was at times one of the largest ammunition depots in Europe. In 1996, the ammunition depot was abandoned and released in the year 2000 as a nature reserve Brachter forest.
