Outside you will find a self-service fridge with a small cash register at the table next to it, ...Cold drinks at reasonable prices,... to what extent the DAV hut is catered... don't ask me,...there was someone in the hut, but there was no response to knocking on the door

Heribert Faltenbacher also called "Faltes" was the main initiator for the construction of the "Faltershütte" below the Kalbenstein. In 1940, the protection and rest hut was built by the members of the German Alpine Club Würzburg.
