The locals like to ride down the dunes in bobsled or plastic tubs. Since we as passing tourists did not have them on hand, we were happy that we were allowed to borrow some from other visitors

Hiking
The Lower Sand Dunes is only about 70m high, but is often used for sand tobogganing. The utensils can be found in the Visitor Center.
