Tips

The Nijswillerberg climbs from the roundabout in Nijswiller to Baneheide. The road is laid straight against the hill, unfortunately that does not result in high percentages. The 5% is barely achieved. In addition, the entourage is not particularly motivating. You cycle on a bike path that is right next to a busy main road. A (nicer) alternative is the Kruisberg Zuidoost.

A steady climb on a bicycle path near the N-way. In some way the wind always shows up there and it takes just a little bit longer then you think. But when you are on top of the climb you have a longer flat section and when you ride to Simpelveld there's also a good paved road.
