    Mömling Bridge 2 + Nepomuk Statue – Eisenbach/Obernburg 🚴‍♂️

The Mömling Bridge leads over the "BrückenStraße," which crosses the river in Eisenbach as a road connection. The statue of Nepomuk at the beginning of the structure watches over the activities at the Mömling Bridge. Nepomuk, the patron saint of bridges and confessors, of the seal of confession, and of secrecy, is carved in sandstone and is the symbol of this Odenwald village.

The road bridge has a single-lane carriageway for all road users in each direction and has a footpath on both sides.🚴‍♂️

    - The Mümling is a 49.7 km long, 59.7 km long left tributary of the Main River, which gives its name to the Mümling Valley in the Odenwald. On the Bavarian side, it is also called the Mömling. The Mümling spring is located in Beerfelden in the Odenwald region of Hesse. The spring is a twelve-pipe well dating from 1810. The Walterbach stream rises from this spring, joining the Gretengraben in Hetzbach. From there, the river is known as the Mümling. Its headwaters around Beerfelden are the southernmost part of Hesse, which still belongs to the Main catchment area. From here, the Mümling flows northward through the Hinterer Odenwald region. From south to north, the district's largest towns are lined up: Erbach, Michelstadt, Bad König, and Höchst im Odenwald. After Höchst, the Mümling turns northeast, curves around Breuberg Castle, and finally flows eastward for the last 8.4 km on Bavarian soil, joining the Main River near Obernburg.
