In Jävenitz, an obelisk for the fallen of the wars of 1866 and 1870/71 stands on a stepped base, topped by an eagle with outstretched wings; in a complex in front of the church, a memorial for the war dead of the First World War, consisting of boulders arranged in a pyramid, topped by an eagle with outstretched wings (without a name); memorial plaques in the church; and graves of concentration camp victims.

The memorial in Jävenitz commemorates the fallen soldiers of the wars of 1866 and 1870/71. Erected by the Jävenitz War Veterans Association with the support of the community, the obelisk was ceremoniously unveiled on July 3, 1914. It is located opposite the train station on the main street and is crowned by an eagle, which was returned to its original position after restoration.

In addition, the village church houses memorial plaques for the fallen soldiers of the Second World War and for the War Veterans Association. In the cemetery, graves commemorate the victims of the death marches who were murdered near Jävenitz in April 1945. These monuments and memorials are impressive testaments to the town's turbulent history and remind us of the victims of past wars.
