On June 26, 2019, the interfaith "Garden of the Book" was ceremoniously opened at Lindow Monastery. The garden is designed as a large labyrinth. 70 different plant species were planted in flat and raised beds. All of them are mentioned in the Bible, the Talmud, and the Koran. Explanatory panels on the plants explain these references to the holy scriptures and support them with quotations from the scriptures. The garden is now open to visitors on the monastery grounds in Lindow.
