Follow the Barnes Creek Trail for ten miles into the majestic rainforest of the Olympic Peninsula along the bubbling Barnes Creek. Right at the beginning you can take a little detour to the popular Marymere Falls. Leave the crowds right after that and enjoy the lush vegetation with mossy trees, abundant ferns and pine trees. You will ford several creeks and streams, so your feet might get wet. If you like to make it an overnight trip, there are two possible campsites along the trail.

Hiking trail along Barnes Creek far into the rainforest mountains. Suitable as part of a larger tour in Olympic National Park or just as a detour when visiting Marymere Falls if you want to get to know the Pacific rainforest and its typical vegetation of conifers, ferns and mosses a little better. Completely undisturbed.
