In the center of Großviehberg is the water tower with clock and bell, built around 1909/1910 from local limestone quarries. The cattle scale used to be on the ground floor. When the tower was renovated in autumn 2001, the watch, which had suffered from the harsh climate here at the height, was also restored in a specialist workshop. The dial was bleached and the clockwork, September 1976, had been destroyed by lightning in the previous year.
