Hiking
The archeology path leads from the village square in Belrieth to the desert of Bitthausen.
The Hofteich is reached through a side valley.
Here is a settlement area with a 200-year history, which ended in 1988.
Passing barrows from the Bronze Age (3000 years old) the path leads along the Grenzweg.
On the Grenzweg, stones testify to the former state border, among other things. between the Duchy of Meiningen and the Kingdom of Prussia.
