    Short information about the park:
    The Krka National Park covers most of the course of the river and the bank of the river of the same name, from the historic town of Knin, not far from its origin, to Skradin. In Skradin, the Krka River turns into a long and deep bay.
    The Krka National Park was founded in 1955. Already in 1948, the area of ​​the park was classified as a rare natural and important area. Between 1985 and 1997, the area of ​​the national park was expanded to a total of 109 km².
    Attraction of the national park are the seven waterfalls. The biggest and most beautiful waterfalls are Skradinski buk and Roški slap. Along the Krka and the lakes you will find many old fortress ruins, mills and some monasteries. To emphasize is the Franciscan monastery on the island Visovac. The approximately 1-acre island was partially artificially heaped up. You can reach them with one of the numerous excursion boats that run on the lake.


    The Krka National Park has three entrances to the park:
    Lozovac is open daily from 08:00 - 18:00
    Skradin is open every day from 08:00 - 18:00
    Roski slap is open every day from 09:00 - 18:00


    Prices in the park vary according to the season:
    From 01.11. - 28.02. for adults are 30 kuna, for children 20 kuna.
    From 01.03. - 31.05. and 01.10. - 31.10. are 80 HRK for adults and 60 HRK for children.
    From 01.06. - 31.08. are for adults 95 kuna, for children 70 kuna.
    For children under 4 years, admission is free
