It is always nice to walk this approximately three kilometers long, shady forest path in memory of the Empress murdered in Geneva. In addition to the views, it is above all the information boards that provide exciting information about a number of things, such as a marterl, famous walkers, Pfandl, the Waldbahn and so on.

The Elisabeth Forest Trail was created in 1899 by the Ischler population in memory of the day of Empress Elisabeth's death (September 10, 1898).
The beautifully laid out, shady path leads from Pfandl to the Bauerpark in Bad Ischl.
