The obelisk of Theodosius is an ancient Egyptian obelisk, which was brought to Constantinople under Emperor Theodosius I and placed there in 390 AD in the Hippodrome.

In view of the other sights and the corresponding historical background as well as the fact that the rest of the obelisk is still in Egypt, this monument should definitely be seen.
