Great beach to swim and linger. You should keep an eye on the waves, which are usually very strong, as many rugged lava stones are hidden underneath. The descent and ascent to the beach is a highlight and can be very arduous for older or disabled people.

Hiking

One of the most fascinating beaches on the island.
Beautiful for a stroll, great for surfing (the surfing beach is just to the west). Also great for seascape photographers.
It is reached by a simple flight of steps down from the main road, hidden behind a small restaurant. (Very pleasant restaurant with typical local cuisine and very friendly and helpful staff).
