Hiking

The shrine was erected in 1967 by the then mayor Alois Schönberger in front of the former quarry in which columnar basalt was mined. The reasons for the construction are unknown. In 2012, the holy house of Rainer Hering and Georg Bader was renovated on a voluntary basis and got a new roofing. The 4 votive tablets have the following text: 1. They gave their lives for a better world, 2. dr. Martin Luther King, 3rd Jesus of Nazareth, 4th Father Delp. Since 2015, the annual Bittprozession ends here, which was previously led to the Irmtrauter cross.
