just keep peddling and down stop, there is a little sign that mentions it is a public route, because the first section looks very over grown as its not used too much

Mountain biking

I don't think this bridleway gets ridden very often, so it gets very overgrown in Summer. We rode it on gravel bikes and had to fight our way through brambles and nettles in July. You'll cross a railway track where you have to ring a bell for the signalman to open the gates for you. Once you've crossed to the other side of the line, the track widens out and is easiergoing.
