For me personally, the most beautiful highlight of Stali Grad - the flair of the architectural design is simply enchanting.
The multiple inscriptions carved in stone make a significant contribution to the beauty of the building.
Among other things: Oh how beautiful faith and reality are.
The poet Petar Hektorovic lived from 1487 to 1572 (actually a long time for that time. His most famous work: "Fishing and Fish Chatting" about a 3-day fishing by two fishermen.

Hiking
Small chateau residence of the Hvar poet and nobleman Petar Hektorović. The central attraction next to the small botanical garden is the Renaissance Fish Table. Mixed of spring water and sea water, a variety of mullets swim in it. The 20kn entrance fee is definitely worth it.
