The Morsbach is a good 15 km long stream in the west of Remscheid. It passes on its way, inter alia, the Federal Highway 1, forms in the lower reaches of the city limits to Wuppertal and flows at Müngsten in the Wupper. Its numerous hammer mills and grinding kills located on it are of great importance for the regional industrial history.
