The imposing rock formation near the Fuchsmühler Forsthaus is not only a popular and easily accessible hiking destination. Every year in December, the granite group is also an atmospheric venue for the forest Christmas. To commemorate the Battle of the Wood, every ten years there is also the Festival, which was written especially for the occasion. Then the conflict between the Fuchsmühlern and the Amberger Infantry Regiment was reenacted 124 years ago in front of the rock backdrop.
