Worth seeing castle complex from the 12th century, the landmark of Arco on the 273 m high rock mountain.
The sweaty ascent from the village only takes about 15 minutes and already offers great views. However, after entering the castle complex (entrance fee was 3.50 euros), there is a 30-minute tour, where a certain ability to walk is required.
The castle complex offers interesting insights into the history of the castle, as well as fantastic viewpoints in all directions with great photo motifs.
Those who are less able to walk should use the nice and free botanical garden of Arco right at the entrance to the ascent path.

Icon and symbol of the city of Arco, its castle stands on top of a suggestive rocky outcrop, dominating the entire plain of the Sarca river and Upper Garda. Inside the manor you can visit the stone prison, the large tower, the ravelin and numerous rooms. The jewel of the complex is the splendid cycle of secular frescoes of the 14th century.
