Ich liebe es sehr, mich in frischer Luft und zu allen Jahreszeiten draußen "auszutoben". Sportarten: Trailrunning, Windsurfen, Bergwandern, Rad fahren, SchwimmenHeimatregion: Berlin
Who looks after the wind direction before starting the journey? Of course we will do it next time ... 😂 he can go all the time from the north / north west, so from the front ... But whatever that should also strengthen the calves 🙃🙂
Overall, the tour was very nice. We took the S-Bahn from Adlershof and the RegioExpress from KW to Lübben. It felt like it only lasted an hour. Only at noon so that the train is not so full because of the wheels.
The tour is also good to ride on a racing bike because the path almost always runs on paved roads and bike paths. Only the Lindenstrasse in Groß Köris has a few hundred meters of cobblestones.
We will take the tour as a base.
If you drive a few more loops, there are certainly more kilometers, but you get more away from the federal and state roads.

Behind the Urft dam you have to push your bike approx. 50 m and turn right and push again approx. 50 m then you can continue.
The last 5 kilometers down to Blens are more of an MTB route. We were only able to slowly cycle down with our gravel bikes ... 😱 But it was borderline for the bike ....

A beautiful forest run with approx. 40% flowy trail content. Especially the section on the steeply sloping shore of the Schmöldese requires sure-footedness and a bit of climbing over (through) a few fallen trees that sometimes lie several times on top of each other. But you are "very close" to the lake and undisturbed in magical nature.
The KiEZ site on the Wooden Lake is closed due to the Corona crisis.
If you want to walk back on the west bank of the Schmöldese, you should better decide at the Forsthaus, then you save yourself a long way back.
And a big thank you to Cornell Paasche for the inspiration for this route!
