The Moorlake Inn is located in a picturesque bay on the riverside path between Glienicke Palace and the Peacock Island. It wasn't always an inn; in 1840, the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV had a forester's house with stables built for his wife, who came from Bavaria. For many years, the couple used the farm for relaxation and to accommodate hunting parties.
The Moorlake has been leased as a restaurant since 1896. You can let yourself be pampered here and enjoy the beautiful idyll (moorlake.de/).

Very nice tavern with a wonderful summer garden and a fantastic view of the Havel. There is only forest all around. The food was very good.
