The Loreley educational wine trail begins at the Loreley visitor center. From there you go across the parking lot through the exit gate and across the street to a barrel bottom with the inscription "Loreley Wine Trail". Continue this way. After a short time you reach the Loreley-Edel vineyard.

A total of 20 panels provide detailed information about the steep vineyards in the Mittelreintal, about the different grape varieties and the laborious work of the vintners in the steep vineyard. From the Loreley plateau you can take the Rheinsteig to reach the Spitznack viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view of the Loreley and the narrow Middle Rhine Valley.

On the way there are several boards from Deutsche Bahn AG that provide information about the cultivation of the cultural landscape with goats and sheep as well as about fauna and flora in the "Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Site". The Loreley educational wine trail is therefore recommendable in several respects: in terms of landscape, viticulture and for information about current measures in the Middle Rhine Valley.
