A small wooden hut offers hikers and cyclists the opportunity to rest in the Werderland nature reserve. The pavilion was officially inaugurated in 2014.
A district partnership has existed between the Harz town of Ilsenburg and Burglesum since 2005 and this is the reason why the shelter has been given the name "Ilsenburger Hütte".
The hut can only be reached by bike and on foot via the Heinrich-Müller-Weg and the "Werderland hiking trail", which leads from Dunger See to the Gasthaus An der Moorlose church.
