Best Hikes to Calgary Tower

Tips

  • The tower in the middle of Calgary is 190 m high and was originally called the Husky Tower.

  • When the 1988 Calgary Olympics took place, the tower was the Olympic torch and there was even real fire burning at the top. Not far from the tower you will find the Olympic Plaza, where all the award ceremonies took place.
From the tower you have a great view over the city to the Rocky Mountains. For me a highlight in downtown Calgary.
