magnificent orchids, wander under old giant oaks or enjoy the fantastic view from Hjässan, the highest point of Omberg.
The legendary mountain has been inhabited by people for thousands of years.
Today it is mainly the magnificent nature that attracts many visitors every year.
Densely leafy beech forests, ghostly spruce forests and the dramatic edge of the Vättern characterize the landscape in this area.
In order to preserve and develop the high natural value of this landscape, Sveaskog has declared this area an ecopark.
