Steep Zigzag Descent to Svatý Petr, Krkonošský National Park

October 2023: Great ascent or descent with an easy, alpine character. Fitness, proper footwear, a head for heights and sure-footedness are particularly important higher up. It could become slippery when wet.
Some places are secured with metal stairs and steel cables.
The climb is definitely worth it.

A steep and rocky descent from the lookout towards Svaty Petr. This descent variant is closed in winter due to the risk of avalanches, and there is still snow here well into spring. Otherwise really a very recommendable, promising variant, but the altitude should not be underestimated, not recommended in wet and thunderstorms, because the stones become very smooth and there is an increased risk due to the exposed and exposed location.
