Probably the smallest natural history museum in the north!
The protection station is located in the former Arlau lock sluice. Here you can learn more about the Beltringharder Koog and the adjacent Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. In the Natural History Museum you can expect a small tour of the diverse habitats of the Beltringharder Kooges, a sea water aquarium and various bird species that are typical of the Wadden Sea.
The national park station with the smallest natural history museum in North Friesland looks after the largest nature reserve on the west coast, the Beltringharder Koog with nature trail.
