Due to a road block, I even had to go down the via ferrata with a dog, it was possible! This is possible with a very well behaved dog, but you have to be prepared for a lot of traffic on the very easy via ferrata. For experienced alpine hikers, the climb is also possible without equipment. But there is always a risk of falling rocks in the Dolomites.

This climb from the Grödnerjoch to the hut at Lake Pisciadu is the "normal climb" from the Grödnerjoch through the Val Setus (path no. 666). Although it is a route secured with wire ropes and artificial steps, it does not require any special via ferrata equipment to climb. As far as I know, it is not listed as a via ferrata in any of the special via ferrata guides for the Dolomites. However, you should still wear a helmet due to the heavy traffic and the amount of loose debris.

The descent is insured with rope in the upper part, but should not be underestimated as you often have to descend backwards. The scree path in the lower part is also not without its problems.
