The beach of Gl. Skagen / Højen / Nordstranden is located on the North Sea side in Skagen and offers the most fantastic sunsets, with many people gathering every summer evening to enjoy the sun.
The beach is a popular beach for both walking and swimming. When it's windy, the beach offers a really good walk with a view of the big waves of the North Sea.
Although Grenen is said to be Denmark's northernmost point, it is the north beach as Grenen faces east.
