The church in Helle was built in 1913 based on designs by Georg Büttner. He took up forms of the so-called Heimatstyle and shows a striking example here. The gable rising up next to the tower has Baroque forms and shapes adopted from the Florentine Renaissance, while the side walls and entrance are made of half-timbering and reflect local traditions in echoes of the previous church. The apse and roof slope take on medieval shapes. The towering bell tower is composed of various stylistic elements.
