Hiking
Kamares is the largest beach village of the island. Here is also the central ferry port. There are numerous good tourist restaurants, small grocery stores and a scooter rental.
The two arms of the port are connected by a picturesque sandy beach. One of the oldest buildings of Kamares is the church "Agios Georgios" from the year 1785.
At least in the preseason the tourism here, in spite of good ferry connections, within limits.
