Who still has air climbs the tower. The views in the Rhine Valley, Murgtal, Oostal are fantastic. On a clear day, the Strasburger Münster can be seen.

Yes, you have to have driven. The ascent is a bit unpleasant at the beginning. Halfway through it gets better and is easy to drive. Some nice trails but apparently not all of them can be used.
