Local recreation area on Lake Niegrpper. In the landscape protection area "Külzauer Forst", which is about a kilometer west of Burg, there is the local recreation area "Niegripper See" in addition to the Quickborn spring. The approximately 120 hectare lake with its bathing beach offers the necessary cooling and the opportunity to relax in the sun on hot days. The beach has a delimited swimmer and non-swimmer area, dog beach, showers and toilets. The physical well-being is also taken care of. A children's playground and a beach volleyball court are also available. The Niegripper See is connected to the Elbe-Havel Canal. In addition to anglers, water hikers will find a quiet place. Cyclists reach the lake about 1.4 km from the Elberadweg.
