Ride across this huge dam before starting your climb to the final decent down to Eikesdalen. There are plenty of spots to take a swim before reaching the dam. The hut is now self service and requires a key.

There are seven "Scandinavian miles" (approx. 70 kilometers) along the Aursjovegen to Sunndalsora. The road was specially created for the construction of this dam.
