I parked at the ferry port at Gjermundshamn and took the ferry to Årsnes. From there i followed the road along the fjord for approx. 30km to Nordrepollen where the climb up to Juklavatnet starts. The first 10 km is paved but the 6 last km is gravel. Gravel tires is a must. You will pass Sunndalen on the road to Nordrepollen. Here you can visit the famous Bondhusvatnet. There is multiple tunnels along the road so lights is a must.
