Swiss-Italian Border at Val d'Uina

Only a wobbly turnstile in a pasture fence and a few inconspicuous boundary stones mark the EU's external border.

If you come from the Sesvennahütte a great trail awaits you up to the entrance to the rock path of the Uinaschlucht (push from there!) If you come from the opposite direction, you have survived it here, in terms of altitude ... for a short time through the biotope ... and then a break or end of the day's stage in the hut.

Border crossing between Switzerland and Italy. It is actually just a wooden turnstile that has to be overcome and the only people watching are the marmots. Beautiful and worth seeing. A restaurant awaits you just behind the border in Italy. The Bolognese is recommended after the tour !!!
