This amazing bridge has been here for generations and hides a history of its own. You used to have to pay money to cross there.

For some time now, love locks have been found on the iron bars on the Fünferlsteg.
The Innsteg is popularly known as the "Fünferlsteg" because of the bridge toll of initially 5 Pfennigs that was levied until 1976.
The Innsteg (officially Hindenburgbrücke, coll. Fünferlsteg) is a pedestrian bridge over the Inn in Passau. Since 1916 it has been connecting the Innstadt at the level of the St. Severin Church with the opposite side of the Inn at the level of the University / Nikolakloster. From there you have a great view of the historic old town.
