Up to the Hornisgrinde it was a pleasure, because the ascent was largely in the shade. But then it got hot on the way back, on the ascent to Klosterreichenbach. Thank God we were able to dive back into the shady Black Forest to Altensteig to avoid the heat. The last climbs back to Weil der Stadt were really hot, also because it was already afternoon. However, we hadn't taken the most comfortable route either.
