The Jerichow Monastery is, strictly speaking, not a monastery, but a so-called collegiate monastery. The collegiate church was built in the Late Romanesque from locally made bricks.It is the oldest brick church in northern Germany. It impresses with a simple beauty, which could be preserved almost unchanged over the years.
