The Kiebitzbrack Nature Reserve is located on the southeastern edge of Hamburg in

the Vier- und Marschlanden district, about four kilometers east of the Zollenspieker Fährhaus (ferry house).

The nature reserve is located in the square formed by the Kraueler Hauptdeich (southeast), Kiebitzdeich (northeast), Marschbahndamm (northwest), and Ostkraueler Graben (southwest). The base of the dike, the Graben, and the Marschbahndamm

form the boundary of the reserve in sections. Today, it forms the beginning of the Gose-Elbe River.

The landscape of the 29-hectare nature reserve is characterized by five bracks, the largest of which is the eponymous "Kiebitzbrack." It connects to the Mittelbrack and Deichbrack to the south. Rundbrack and Langenbrack lie to the east of the reserve. To the southeast, the Kiebitzbrack Nature Reserve is separated from the Zollenspieker Nature Reserve, located outside the dike, by the Elbe dike. The Zollenspieker Nature Reserve extends westward along the Elbe River.

The nature reserve is surrounded by agricultural land.

To the south and west, it is predominantly grassland, while to the north,

arable and horticultural areas border it.

The Kiebitzbracke is very nice, you can get past it via the Marschbahndamm. But it is under nature protection and is mostly private.
