You can really pick up the pace here, or even better, cycle leisurely along the Elbe River with stunning views. You can try to compete with the passing road cyclists, but you'll quickly realize that there's little chance of success. They simply have different conditions and are simply faster in the long run.

A very nice route, with the best asphalt bike path and a perfect view of the Elbe. I prefer to drive here than on the march-path dam.
