The section of the Martin Goodman Trail that runs along Toronto's harbour was revitalized in 2015. Before it was just painted bike lanes on Queens Quay. Now it is a fully separated path that's level with the newly widened sidewalk. When it was first installed, pedestrians were all over it, but people have figured out that the smooth paved path is for bikes or other people-powered wheeled things (like rollerblades or kick-scooters) and the stone walkways are for pedestrians.

It's very busy on summer weekends with locals and tourists alike enjoying a bike ride down by the harbour. On weekdays it's less busy (except during rush hour when many local cyclists use it to commute to work).

As the city grown exponentially in last decade, downtown traffic is madnes. This trail is the best way to explore the city. On the west you can connect to the Humber River Trail or Don River Trail on the east.

Busy bike trail, not fantastic for speed but a nice ride nonetheless.
