a historical place, because here on float in the river 1808 the meeting Napoleon - Tsar Alexander took place, which led to the (temporary) "Peace of Tilsit". In 1812, Napoleon broke this peace with the memorandum at Kaunas, and just as close to Tauroggen, at the end of 1812, Prussian and Russian officers concluded an agreement on decisive cooperation against Napoleon (memorial last photo).
