Stoney Creek Trail winds through the shaded forest of Strickland State Forest, passing ferns, cabbage tree palms and other lush vegetation between the ridge and Stoney Creek. The bush track follows the hillside’s contours through patches of rainforest, where you’ll see the creek and its rocky banks peeking through the trees along the way. It connects with other walking trails near the lower creek crossings, making it easy to combine with the Arboretum or Bellbird trails for a longer circuit.
