Hiking

The NSG "Lutter" located in the Südheide includes in the districts of Celle and Gifhorn a widely ramified river system with natural heather streams, alluvial and riparian forests, moors, swamps and spring areas. The brooks are habitat u.a. of freshwater pearl mussel and otter; Bird species such as black stork, white-tailed eagle and crane are native to the area.
