The "East Point Park Bird Sanctuary" is a designated bird sanctuary within East Point Park. This park is located on the shores of Lake Ontario with segments of the Scarborough Bluffs – the easternmost ones.
In 2014, the City of Toronto declared East Point Park a bird sanctuary. The sanctuary includes the higher part of the park with meadows, forests, and wetlands. The park serves as a resting area for migratory birds along Lake Ontario.
In special facilities, you can observe the bird life in the Bird Sanctuary.
