Sntsk'il'ntən - Black Mountain Regional Park covers over 640 hectares of ridgelines, grasslands, and important cultural natural space. The park was created through a partnership between the Regional District of Central Okanagan, the Westbank First Nation, and the Province of British Columbia, to protect rare Okanagan ecosystems. The park’s traditional Syilx/Okanagan name, sntsk'il'ntən (often written with localized characters or standardized as Snts'kilten on trail maps), translates to “the place where arrowheads are found” and is home to 16 kilometres of multi-use trails.
