The interior of the church is mostly in the neo-Gothic style. The church's special art treasures include a late Gothic triptych from the early 16th century in the left aisle and another triptych from 1553 with the motif of the crucifixion in a neo-Gothic frame in the right aisle.

The main altar and pulpit were designed in a neo-Gothic style. In the baptistery there is a baroque painting from the 18th century with the Virgin Mary, St. Catherine of Siena and St. Dominik.

Originally, the building, consecrated to St. Jacob, the patron saint of Olsztyn, served the residents of the town as a parish church. It was later elevated to the rank of episcopal cathedral. PTO

The Gothic Kościół Św., Which was promoted to co-cathedral of the Warmia diocese in 1972. Jakuba (Jacobi Church) is a stately brick building. The three-aisled church, built at the end of the 14th century, lost most of its interior furnishings during the Napoleonic Wars, but has beautiful net and honeycomb vaults in the main and side aisles. The wooden figures of St. James and St. Andrew from the 15th century as well as a late Gothic St. Mary's altar from the 16th century have been preserved.

The St. Jakobus Church was built at the beginning of the 15th century and is today an archbishop's co-cathedral alongside the Frauenburg Cathedral. Considerable cell vaults have been preserved in the Gothic brick building.
