With the zoo in the eastern part of the city and the zoological garden here in the western part, Berlin can call itself the proud owner of two zoos. The zoological garden was opened in 1844, almost completely destroyed and rebuilt during the Second World War. In countless enclosures and animal houses you can marvel at animals from all over the world and learn more about them. Particularly unique: the nocturnal animal house with bats and other nocturnal companions.

Very nice zoo, which has a great exterior design. Is centrally located, so easy to reach by bus and train. Right at the station of the same name.
